Description
Abingdon Pottery 12″ Sea Shell Bowl, Shape 501 , Sea Green
Large, heavy shell-shaped console bowl with a curved handle on one end. This shape was made in four sizes from 7 to 15 inches in length. This is the 12 inch version. The gloss glaze is a dusty shade of sage green called Sea Green. This shape was produced 1940-1948.
Condition: No chips, cracks, repairs or crazing. Very tiny wear spots on a couple of the ribs if viewed closely, not noticeable.
Marks: Stamped with the Abingdon U.S.A. rectangle mark.
Dimensions: 12″ long, 7 3/4″ wide, 2 3/4″ high.
